Air Ambulance Touches Down at St Mary’s After Emergency Call from Isle of Wight

The Thames Valley Air Ambulance swiftly answered a distress call from Shanklin, Isle of Wight. At the request of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, the red helicopter took off from St Blaius Academy and landed at St Mary’s Hospital in just over an hour.
Life-Saving Treatment En Route
Flying doctors rushed to a property on St John’s Road to treat a patient. After stabilising the individual, they airlifted them on a short flight to St Mary’s, touching down at the hospital’s helipad shortly after 11:30am following a 10:00am emergency call.
