Tragic Death on Worcestershire’s A435 Hollywood Bypass
A man has died following a serious road traffic collision on the A435 Hollywood Bypass, Worcestershire, late last night.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
The West Midlands Ambulance Service was alerted just before midnight on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Multiple 999 calls reported a pedestrian struck on the southbound carriageway.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma team sped to the scene. Police officers were already performing CPR on the injured man when medics arrived.
Despite frantic life-saving efforts, the man was confirmed dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway – Witnesses Urged to Help
“When ambulance staff arrived, they found police officers performing CPR on a pedestrian, a man. The team quickly began advanced life support but sadly, nothing could be done to save him,” said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson.
Police are investigating the incident and ask anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to come forward.
