Firefighters rushed to Stoke Newington High Street after bricks started raining down from a rooftop. A huge brick wall collapsed from the building roof and crashed to the pavement below.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the frightening incident. Fire crews quickly cleared all loose debris to make the area safe.

  • The fire brigade was called at 10:20am and wrapped up operations by 12:02pm.
  • One fire engine and an aerial ladder platform from Stoke Newington and Soho stations tackled the job.
