Tragedy at Mill Hill Broadway Station as Person Dies on Railway Line
A person has died following a serious incident at Mill Hill Broadway Station in north London on the evening of Wednesday, April 16.
Emergency Rush to Mill Hill Station
Emergency services were scrambled at 6:09pm after reports of a railway incident. The London Ambulance Service (LAS) deployed multiple units, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, members of the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), and London’s Air Ambulance.
A LAS spokesperson said:
“The first of our teams arrived in under four minutes. Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The identity of the deceased and exact circumstances remain unknown as investigations continue.
Train Services Disrupted
Train travel between St Albans City and London St Pancras International was temporarily halted while emergency crews dealt with the incident. Services resumed by 7:45pm, easing disruption for commuters.
