Masked Robber Strikes at Park Gate Service Station – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are on the lookout after a masked man tried to rob a petrol station in Park Gate in the early hours.

Balaclava-Clad Bogeyman Hits Till but Flees Empty-Handed

At around 3.30am yesterday, a man wearing a black balaclava and gloves stormed into Locks Heath Service Station on Bridge Road. Armed only with a blue carrier bag, he demanded cash from a female shop assistant and smashed the cash till’s monitor before making a swift getaway. He was last spotted heading towards Station Road.

No Cash Nabbed – But Manhunt Underway

The thief escaped without stealing a penny. Police describe him as:

  • Around 6ft 4ins tall
  • Slim build
  • Wearing dark clothing, gloves, and a black balaclava

Police Urge Locals to Come Forward

“This was clearly a traumatic incident for the member of staff involved,” said Inspector James Stewart. “We hope anyone who saw something or has information about this man will get in touch.”
