Police Appeal After Theft From Church

Authorities are seeking to speak with an individual in relation to a purse theft at Bowden Parish Centre, Stamford Road, Altrincham on Monday, June 10, 2024, at approximately 1.35pm

The victim reported that the individual was seen filming the church before the theft occurred. Subsequently, the victim’s bank card was used at a local Argos within Sainsburys and at a Tesco store, resulting in a total loss of £140.

The stolen purse contained the victim’s car keys and important paperwork.

No arrests have been made as of now. If you have any information, please contact the authorities at 101, quoting reference number CRI/06MM/0008808/24. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
