Fatal BMW Crash Claims Two Lives
At 1.50am, officers were called to a single-vehicle collision involving a silver BMW 316 near Kings Worthy. The driver, a 27-year-old man from Basingstoke, and front-seat passenger, a 27-year-old woman from the same town, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Their families have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
One Left Seriously Injured
The backseat passenger, a 21-year-old Basingstoke woman, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Piece Together Crash Details
Sgt Rik Grant from the Joint Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw the silver BMW before or during the crash. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.”
