Two Foals Killed in M25 Hit-and-Run Horror
A tragic hit-and-run on the M25 has claimed the lives of two five-month-old foals. The crash happened on Saturday morning between junctions 24 and 25, sparking a police manhunt for the driver involved.
VW Touran Hits Horse Box, Causes Crash
At around 08:50, a dark-coloured VW Touran smashed into a horse box being towed by a van. The impact flipped the horse box, leaving both foals seriously injured.
One foal died at the scene. The other had to be put down due to catastrophic injuries.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
The Roads and Transport Policing Command is leading the investigation. They are desperate for anyone who saw the crash or has dash cam footage to step forward.
“If you witnessed the collision or have any information, please contact us on 101 quoting reference CAD 1969/07Oct,” police said.
No Arrests Yet But Probe Ongoing
So far, no arrests have been made. But police vow to track down the hit-and-run driver and bring them to justice.
