Fatal Crash on M20: Investigators Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
A tragic collision on the M20 motorway has left two women dead. Police are urgently appealing for witnesses and dashcam videos to help piece together what happened.
Deadly Smash on Hard Shoulder
The fatal crash took place at around 8.20am on Monday 17 October 2022. It occurred on the hard shoulder of the coastbound carriageway between junctions 1 and 2.
Four Vehicles Involved
Reports confirm four vehicles were caught up in the smash: a grey Infiniti Q30 Sport, a black BMW X5, a black VW Golf, and a white Iveco Daily van.
Emergency services, including police, ambulance, and fire crews attended the scene. Sadly, two women were pronounced dead at the site, with their next of kin informed.
Police Seek Crucial Dashcam Evidence
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is piecing together the full story. They are calling on motorists travelling in both directions along the M20 who may have dashcam footage from between 8.15am and 8.20am to come forward.
