Man Injured in Late-Night Crash on Arnold Road, Basford

Police rushed to Arnold Road, Basford, just after 11.15pm on Thursday, 24 February 2022, following reports of a man injured near the Britannia Avenue junction.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but details of his condition have not been released.

Road Closure and Police Appeal

Arnold Road was closed for several hours as officers cordoned off the scene. The road has since reopened after investigators completed their work.

Nottinghamshire Police are now pleading with the public for any CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help shed light on the crash.

Police Hunting for Key Vehicle

Collision Investigator Liah Lane said: “We are working to understand exactly what happened. We urge anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward. Any detail, no matter how small, could be vital to our investigation.”

She added: “We also want to trace a vehicle pictured in connection with this incident and ask anyone who can help locate it to get in touch.”
