Dangerous Murderer on the Run After Prison Escape
Police are hunting for Adrian Patchett, 42, who has vanished after escaping from Hollesley Bay prison.
Patchett was serving a life sentence for the brutal murder of his pregnant girlfriend, Shirley Batt. Back in 2007, he was jailed for stabbing her in the neck and given 14 years behind bars.
Escaped During Temporary Release
The convict was on a temporary licence in Ipswich but failed to return by 5:35am on Sunday, August 7th, prompting an immediate manhunt.
What He Looks Like
- White male, around 5ft 10ins tall
- Medium build
- Blue eyes
- Bald head with a full beard
- Tattoo of the word “Mother” on his left arm
