Woman Fighting for Life After Horrific Bus Crash in Mile End

Grove Road north from Mile End Road has been shut both ways following a serious collision. A woman in her 50s was slammed by a bus near Mile End Underground station and is now fighting for her life.

Emergency Services Swarm Scene

Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at around 7.30pm on Thursday evening. The victim was rushed to an East London hospital and remains in critical condition.

Bus Routes Disrupted Amid Road Closure

Major bus routes—including the 277, 323, 339, 425, D6, and D7—are disrupted. Grove Road between Mile End Road and Roman Road remains blocked to allow emergency services to work.

Police Launch Full Investigation

A Met Police spokesman confirmed no arrests have been made. Investigations into the crash circumstances are ongoing.
