14 Years On: Police Vow to Crack Claudia Lawrence Case

Police remain determined to solve the mystery of Claudia Lawrence’s disappearance, 14 years after the 35-year-old chef vanished without a trace. Claudia was last seen in March 2009 when she failed to turn up for work at the University of York.

Yorkshire’s Biggest Missing Person Probe

Her disappearance sparked the largest and most complex missing person investigation in North Yorkshire Police history. Despite exhaustive inquiries and hundreds of officers involved, the case went cold. Twelve arrests have been made over the years, but no charges followed.

North Yorkshire Police said: “While the investigation is still ongoing, we are committed to providing the answers Claudia’s family urgently needs. We’re reaching out to the public once more for help.”
