M20 Shut After Woman Dies in Early Morning Crash
The M20 in Kent is shut both ways between Junction 10A (Ashford) and Junction 11 (Canterbury) following the tragic death of a woman early Sunday morning.
Fatal Incident at Mersham
Emergency services were called just after 3.15am to The Street in Mersham. Despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Kent Police are leading the investigation.
Traffic Chaos – Diversions in Place
All lanes remain closed near The Street. Drivers are urged to follow the Hollow Circle diversion signs:
- Exit the M20 at Junction 10 onto the eastbound A20 towards Folkestone
- Continue on the A20
- Rejoin the M20 at Junction 11
Motorists should allow extra time for their journeys while the road remains closed.
