Three Arrested After Dramatic Kidnap Incident in Swindon

Police swooped on Swindon today after a teenager was reportedly kidnapped at Greenbridge Retail Park. The alarm was raised just after 2pm, sparking a full-blown manhunt.

Massive Police Operation in Eldene and Park South

Officers, backed by a police helicopter, quickly descended on the Eldene and Park South areas. Their search ended with the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of weapons, including a bloody knife and a metal pole, hidden near Shaftesbury Lake.

Suspects in Custody, Victim Safe

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson confirmed the arrests: “A 19-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and affray. Two 15-year-olds, also from Swindon, were arrested on suspicion of kidnap.” All three remain in police custody.

Thankfully, the teenage victim has been found safe and well. Police believe no one was hurt, but inquiries continue.
