Body Found on M2 Near Rochester – Motorway Shut
Kent Police were called to the M2 at Junction 3, near Rochester, at around 3.35am on Tuesday 17 May 2022 after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare.
Officers arrived to find a body and promptly closed the motorway. Both carriageways remain shut while investigations continue.
Death Not Being Treated as Suspicious
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious. They are preparing a report for the coroner.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.

All traffic is being forced off the motorway at Junction 3, with drivers urged to take alternative routes to dodge heavy delays and congestion.
