Minor Smash Sparks Rush Hour Halt

A Sussex Police vehicle clipped another car at the hectic crossroads of North Street and West Street in Brighton just after 1pm on Saturday, November 2.

The cop car was tearing through town on an emergency call when the crash happened, causing a brief traffic hold-up.

Officers Act Fast to Clear the Scene

Police wasted no time getting the blockage out of the way, swiftly reopening the busy city centre junction to ease congestion.

No Injuries in Crash

A Sussex Police spokesman confirmed: “Police responded to a minor collision involving a police vehicle and a vehicle at the junction of North Street and West Street in Brighton. The collision occurred shortly after 1pm on Saturday, November 2. The police vehicle was responding to an emergency at the time of the collision.”

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
