Baseus Power Banks Recalled Over Fire and Burn Risks

Power up with caution! Baseus has issued an urgent recall on power banks model PPCXM06 and PPCXW06 after reports of fires and burn injuries. These gadgets, available in white, black, light blue, and light pink, feature a magnetic side designed to snap onto phones with magnetic charging. The model number sits on the magnetic side, with “20W” marked on the opposite side.

Safety Alert: Handle With Care

If you own one of these lithium-ion batteries, don’t trash it or recycle it in regular battery bins. These recalled power banks pose serious fire hazards and must be disposed of following strict local and state rules. Mishandling could lead to dangerous consequences.

How to Get Your Refund

Stop using the recalled Baseus power banks immediately. Contact Baseus for a full refund if you have proof of purchase, or claim £36 cash back without it.

  • Submit a photo showing the model number on the power bank.
  • If you lack an order number, include a picture with your name and the date handwritten in permanent marker.
  • Use the company’s recall registration page to process your claim.

Amazon and Baseus are reaching out to buyers directly to spread the word. Dispose of the device safely, following official guidelines.
