Red Arrows Cancel Southampton Water Flypast Due to Dismal Weather

Southampton, Hampshire – Thursday 2 July 2015: The Red Arrows have axed their much-anticipated debut flypast over Southampton Water. The iconic RAF aerobatic team was set to wow crowds with a full display but poor weather conditions grounded the jets.

Organisers had promised an impressive aerial show to mark the occasion. However, thick cloud and rain put paid to the Red Arrows’ first visit to Southampton skies. Safety concerns forced officials to pull the plug at the last minute.
