Red Arrows Engineer Killed in North Wales Plane Crash

A Red Arrows jet has crashed in Wales, killing an RAF engineer at RAF Valley in Anglesey in Wales. The Air Ambulance has been scrambled to the scene after the pilot was forced to eject from the aircraft and is receiving medical treatment, the condition of the pilot is not known. The incident happened at 1.30opm, the ambulance service confirmed that the incident happened at the RAF Valley in Holyhead. Sadly one person has died in the incident, a full investigation will now be launched. A MOD Spokesperson has released a statement saying “We are aware of an incident today at RAF Valley involving a Hawk aircraft. “We are investigating the incident and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.” It understands that two people were within the Jet. An Ambulance and Air Ambulance remain at the scene of the incident.
