Red Arrows Make Surprise Comeback at Eastbourne Airbourne
In a stunning turnaround, the Red Arrows are back on the Eastbourne Airbourne bill this August 15. The UK’s top aerobatic team had earlier hinted they’d skip the event, but fans can now rejoice at a one-off, jaw-dropping display before the squad jets off to Canada for their Maple Hawk tour.
One-Day Only Thrill at Eastbourne
Unlike previous years where the Red Arrows wow crowds all four days, this year they’ll only dazzle on Thursday. It’s a rare treat at Eastbourne and part of their packed 2024 schedule, geared up for their 60th anniversary season next year.
Training in Full Swing
The team is currently sharpening their skills at RAF Waddington ahead of a busy season of shows both home and abroad. Their first public performance kicks off in late May, promising excitement from the very start.
Red Arrows 2024 Flight Plan
- May 21: Battle of Crete tribute at Souda Bay, Greece.
- Late May – August: Airshows across the UK and Europe. Highlights include the Midlands Air Festival, English Riviera Airshow, and the Royal International Air Tattoo.
- August 15: Eastbourne International Airshow headline performance.
- August – September: Canadian Maple Hawk tour with stops in Toronto, Ottawa, and a stunning Niagara Falls flypast.
