Sainsbury’s Issues Urgent Pet Food Recall Over Vitamin D Risk
Pet Owners Warned: Stop Feeding These Sainsbury’s Products Now
Sainsbury’s has pulled several of its own-brand pet food lines amid fears they contain dangerously high levels of vitamin D. The supermarket giant says prolonged feeding could cause pets to suffer from vomiting, diarrhoea, and other nasty symptoms.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) confirmed that while short-term consumption isn’t usually a problem, extended use can lead to lethargy, stiffness, excessive urination, and more serious health issues.
