An 11-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries after being struck by a black Audi TT tonight on Sanford Street, Southwark.

The collision was so severe it left a bullseye mark on the Audi’s windscreen. Emergency services arrived quickly, with police shutting down Sanford Street at both ends to investigate.

Road Closures and Bus Diversions Cause Chaos

Police were called just after 7.30pm to the single-vehicle crash, blocking the road at the junction with Grinstead Road in both directions. Local bus services are now on diversion, putting commuters out of sorts as officers carry out their inquiries.
