Yoga Group Fooled by Ed Sheeran Lookalike on Brighton Beach
A Brighton yoga session got an unexpected surprise when a man who looked just like pop star Ed Sheeran joined in on Brighton beach. But don’t pack your concert tickets just yet – turns out, it wasn’t the real deal.
Lookalike Stuns Yoga Fans and Climbs i360
The doppelgänger, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Sheeran, showed up at the Brighton Yoga Foundation’s “Yoga on the Beach” event. He even made a brief attempt at some yoga poses, leaving organisers gobsmacked.
Adding to the mystery, the twin was also spotted atop the famous British Airways i360 observation tower. Ironically, the i360 was closed for maintenance that day. The Ed Sheeran double was filmed doing an interview beside the landmark, causing quite a stir.
Volunteer Davy Jones Shares Surreal Moment
“Surreal experience this morning! I was helping with the Brighton Yoga Foundation Yoga on the Beach event next to the i360 when I spotted Ed Sheeran doing a promo shoot,” said volunteer Davy Jones. “I got word to him about our class and he came down and briefly joined in!”
However, Jones later admitted the twist: “Sadly it appears that everyone on the seafront, including the yoga event, may have been conned by Ed’s famous lookalike. The real Ed Sheeran is touring in America. Still, it made for a good story and a bit of fun!”
Locals Left Amused by Convincing Doppelgänger
The bizarre encounter left Brighton locals both entertained and bemused. The lookalike’s cameo brought an unexpected burst of excitement to the seafront, proving a day at the beach can always hold surprises.
