Third-Floor Bedroom Razed in Blaze
A third-floor bedroom was gutted by fire in a dramatic midday incident. Around 40 residents fled the building before firefighters arrived, with thankfully no injuries reported.
Rapid Response From Fire Brigade
The London Fire Brigade received 10 frantic 999 calls about the blaze. They were called out at 1.51pm and had the fire under control by 2.36pm. Crews from Euston, Brixton, Clapham, Lambeth, Battersea, and Hammersmith stations raced to the scene to tackle the flames.
