A 19-year-old former Army cadet from Southall has been jailed after admitting possession of terrorist materials and stalking two schoolgirls and a female teacher. The lengthy investigation, led by Counter Terrorism Policing london/">London, uncovered his online activity between February and November 2024, revealing a serious threat to the community.

Extremist Materials Found

Dihan Rahman was found to have downloaded bomb-making guides and extremist content linked to both extreme right-wing and Islamist ideologies. Police seized his mobile phone, computer, and encrypted hard drive, uncovering documents considered likely to assist terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000.

Targeted Schoolgirls Harassed

Following a teenage girl rejecting his advances, Rahman initiated a campaign of stalking from February to June 2024. He inundated her with messages, posted photos of the school prom venue, and shared a disturbing image of a Nazi soldier. The harassment extended to a second girl and included malicious complaints against a female teacher.

Counter Terror Arrest

In November 2024, Counter Terrorism officers arrested Rahman after discovering his online posts accusing the schoolgirls and the teacher of conspiracy related to the investigation. At the Old Bailey in early 2026, he pleaded guilty to possession of indecent images, stalking, and terrorism offences.

Custodial Sentence Delivered

On 6 May 2026, Rahman was sentenced to four years and six months in prison. He must serve at least two-thirds of his sentence, reflecting the gravity of his terrorism and stalking offences.
