Man in Critical Condition After E-Bike Crash in Stamford Hill

A 46-year-old man is battling for his life in hospital following a serious crash between his e-bike and a car in Stamford Hill, Hackney.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

The collision happened just after 8pm on Thursday, April 24, at the busy junction of Northfield Road and Stamford Hill. London Ambulance Service paramedics, including London’s Air Ambulance trauma team, were called immediately.

The rider was found with life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. His condition remains critical.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses

“Police were called to the Northfield Road junction with Stamford Hill at 20:07hrs on Thursday, 24 April following reports of a road traffic collision.

Officers attended the scene where a man on an e-bike had reportedly been in collision with a car.

The 46-year-old man remains in a critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured in the incident. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses should call 101, quoting reference 7077/24Apr.
