Storm Jorge Docks as Weather Bomb with Severe Warnings

Brace yourselves! Storm Jorge has officially been dubbed a WEATHER BOMB and is set to slam into the UK around 3pm this Saturday. Expect heavy rain followed by gale-force winds that will bring a bone-chilling wind chill, warns the Met Office.

Up to Five Inches of Rain to Drench Britain

Parts of the UK could be battered with up to five inches of rain — that’s nearly two months’ worth — by Saturday night. Met Office meteorologist Craig Snell revealed, “By midday on Saturday we could have seen around 120mm of rain in parts with around 30 to 50mm widely.”

Prepare for Whipping Gales and Flood Risk

  • Heavy rain expected from early afternoon
  • Gales picking up strongly after rainfall
  • Severe weather warnings in place across multiple regions
  • Potential for flooding due to intense downpours

Don’t get caught out – strap down loose items and keep an eye on updates as Storm Jorge brings a much-needed warning of severe weather into the weekend.
