Major Diversion Alert for A1(M) Road Users
Drivers heading northbound on the A1(M) should follow the Solid Diamond diversion signs to avoid delays.
Northbound Route: Follow the Solid Diamond
- Exit A1(M) at Junction 3.
- Take the 2nd exit at Roehyde Roundabout towards Hatfield.
- At the Galleria Roundabout, take the 2nd exit.
- Next roundabout: take the 3rd exit, following signs for the motorway and Hartford A1001 (A414).
- At the following roundabout, take the 2nd exit to rejoin A1(M) at Junction 4.
Southbound Drivers: Follow the Hollow Circle
- Exit A1(M) at Junction 4, then at ‘Clock’ Roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Hatfield A1001.
- At next roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards St Albans A1001.
- At the ‘Galleria’ Roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Conley Heath A1001.
- At ‘Roehyde’ Roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards London A1(M), Motorways.
- Finally, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit to join A1(M) at Junction 2.
