A21 in East Sussex SHUT Both Ways After Fire and Burst Water Main
Chaos on the East Sussex roads! The A21 is completely closed both ways between the A28 at Baldslow and the A2100 near Battle.
Blazing Fire Sparks Major Closure
A huge building blaze at Ebdens Hill forced emergency crews into action. East Sussex Fire and Rescue battled the flames while Sussex Police traffic officers managed the chaos. Thankfully, the fire is now out, but that’s not the end of the trouble.
Water Main Burst Adds to the Mess
The road remains shut because a nearby water main has burst, flooding the area. Southern Water has been called in to fix the leak, but National Highways have no estimate yet on when the A21 will reopen.
