At 12:14 am, firefighters rushed to the marina to tackle a fierce fire blazing in the yard. The flames quickly engulfed three vans beyond repair, leaving two more badly damaged.

As crews battled the inferno, three mysterious figures in high-vis jackets were seen loitering on the A259 bridge over the River Arun, close to Tesco. Police want to speak to these individuals, who watched the chaos unfold from above.
Police Plead for Info and Dashcam Footage
Authorities haven’t confirmed if these bridge watchers were witnesses or involved in the arson, but they’re urging anyone who saw anything suspicious around midnight to come forward. Dashcam clips capturing the area near the bridge could prove vital.
