Tommy Robinson Busted at Luton Airport Over St Pancras Assault
Far-Right Figure Snapped Up by Police
Far-right activist Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been arrested by British Transport Police in connection with a serious assault at St Pancras International Station last month.
The 42-year-old Bedfordshire man was detained at Luton Airport shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, after officers were tipped off that he had boarded a flight arriving from Faro, Portugal.
Assault Probe Leads to Arrest
The arrest comes after a violent incident on 28 July, when a man was attacked in the concourse area of St Pancras station. Robinson had left the UK in the early hours of 29 July, reportedly heading to Tenerife, just as a police manhunt began to question him about the attack.
Police confirmed: “He was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and will now be taken into custody for questioning.”
Ongoing Investigation and Witness Appeal
No further details have been released about the victim or the severity of injuries. Robinson, well known for his far-right activism and previous legal troubles, is expected to face detectives soon as the inquiry continues.
British Transport Police have urged any witnesses or anyone with information about the St Pancras assault to come forward immediately.
