Crash Chaos on A27/M275 Interchange as Man Trapped for Two Hours
A major emergency response was launched just after 1.20pm today following a serious two-vehicle crash on the busy A27/M275 interchange.
Man Trapped for Over Two Hours
Hampshire Fire and Rescue had to free one person trapped in the wreckage, a rescue that took over two hours, according to their official Twitter.
Paramedics stabilized the patient at the scene before the Thames Valley Air Ambulance airlifted them to hospital.
Three Others Treated on Scene
Another three people received treatment from paramedics at the crash site.
Traffic Ground to a Halt
Traffic chaos hit the area hard, with major delays on the A27 and M275. The hold-ups worsened as some drivers exited their vehicles, adding to congestion.
Commuters are warned delays are expected to continue for some time.
