Man Found Dead on M5 After Falling from Overbridge

Police are hunting for witnesses after a man’s body was found on the northbound M5 near junction 9 for Tewkesbury early Saturday morning.

The grim discovery came in just after 6:05 a.m., when officers were alerted to the incident. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, is thought to have fallen from an overbridge onto the carriageway below.

Death Treated as Non-Suspicious

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.

His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
