Two arrests made after Canterbury stab attack

 

 

Kent Police was called at 2.30pm on Sunday 21 June 2020 to Palace Street, Canterbury, following reports a person had been assaulted.

 

A 17-year-old boy was airlifted to a London hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound. His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening. Later the same day, officers arrested two men in connection with the assault.

 

A 22-year-old man from Canterbury and a 21-year-old man of no fixed address were taken into custody while enquiries continue.

 

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to an officer to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/104847/20.
