Bus and car crash sparks emergency response in Addiscombe
Police rushed to the scene at 9.33am on Sunday, 5 February, after a collision between a bus and a car at the busy junction of Shirley Road and Lower Addiscombe Road in Addiscombe.
Emergency services on site
Officers arrived swiftly, joined by the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade. Both drivers were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Injuries not life-threatening
Thankfully, neither driver suffered life-threatening injuries. No arrests were made following the crash.
Vehicles recovered, road cleared
Police helped arrange for the damaged vehicles to be recovered, clearing the road and restoring traffic flow.
