Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

Paramedics were on site treating drivers involved. While injuries are not believed to be serious, the impact left the tractor units badly damaged. A major recovery operation is now underway with specialist contractor Manfield’s handling the clean-up.

Lane Closures to Last Until Late

Lanes are expected to remain closed until at least 10.30pm as National Highways conducts a full inspection of road furniture for damage. Meanwhile, police and National Highways are also managing another crash on the London-bound carriage between junctions 3 and 4 involving an overseas HGV and a van.

Kent Police have been contacted for comment. Stay tuned for updates.
