Rescue Success as Lifeboat Finds Stranded Duo
Just as teams readied for a tough rescue, the Hastings lifeboat spotted and saved the pair. They were brought safely back to the lifeboat station where coastguards gave them a quick health check before sending them on their way.
Coastguard Issues Crucial Safety Warning
The Hastings Coastguard team stressed the need for proper prep when walking near the coast. They urged everyone to:
- Carry a map of the area
- Know the tide times
- Have a reliable way to call for help
In emergencies, they reminded the public to dial 999 and ask for the COASTGUARD.
