Fire Breaks Out in Hackney Home – Seven People Saved
Chaos this morning as a fire ripped through a house on Clissold Crescent, Hackney, N16. Five people made a dramatic escape, while firefighters rescued two more from the blaze.
Smoke Inhalation and Damage Reported
Several people were checked by ambulance crews at the scene. One victim was treated for smoke inhalation after the flames damaged the ground floor of the four-storey semi-detached property.
Firefighters Race to Tackle Blaze
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Stoke Newington, Holloway, and Islington rushed to the scene after the Brigade was alerted at 7.54am. They had the fire under control by 9am.
Investigation Underway
Officials are now probing the cause of the fire. No further details have been released yet.
