Missing Girl Olivia Spotted on London CCTV – Hunt Steps Up

Concern is mounting for 12-year-old Olivia Sands, who vanished from the quiet village of Barnham near Canterbury. Just 12 hours after her disappearance, police have handed the case over to Scotland Yard following a confirmed sighting at a bustling London train station.

From Kent to London: Olivia Caught on CCTV at St Pancras

Olivia was last seen around 10am on Wednesday 17 February wearing a black padded coat with a fur-trimmed hood. The teenage girl, who stands about 4ft 5in tall, slim build and wears glasses, does not have a mobile phone or any known connections to London.

Alarm bells rang when new footage showed Olivia at St Pancras Railway Station shortly before 1pm the same day. A family insider revealed, “Olivia is on CCTV at St Pancras just after lunchtime. We are desperate for her to make contact. She’s not in trouble. Whatever caused her to run away, we just want to help and bring her home safely.”

Massive Search Effort Underway in Kent and London

  • Kent Police launched an urgent appeal at 6pm Wednesday, worried for Olivia’s welfare.
  • Search teams, including police tracker dogs, Kent fire and rescue’s drone unit, and a helicopter scoured Barnham and surrounding areas.
  • Met Police confirmed they are now assisting, urging anyone with info to call 101 quoting Cad 7338/17Feb.

The village hall stands dark, a grim reminder of the ongoing search. Social media has exploded with messages of support and hope for Olivia’s safe return.
