Ambulance Dispatcher Drops Debut Track to Raise Spirits
Aaron Wilkes, a 38-year-old Emergency Medical Dispatcher from Stafford, is set to release his first ever song this Friday, 27th September. After 18 years with West Midlands Ambulance Service, Aaron is finally turning his lifelong passion for music into reality with his inspiring new anthem, Stand Together.
From Ambulance Control Room to Music Spotlight
Working at the Tollgate control room, Aaron’s career has always revolved around saving lives. But his heart beats for music. He wrote, composed, and played every instrument on Stand Together — a powerful track about unity, strength, and battling through tough times.
“Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember, but it’s only recently that I’ve found the confidence to share it,” Aaron revealed. “The song started as a way to cope with my own mental health struggles, but I hope it can inspire others too.”
Music with a Mission: Helping Mental Health & Charity
Aaron believes music can genuinely heal. “It reduces anxiety, lowers blood pressure, and lifts mood. If this song helps even one person, it’s done its job,” he said.
To back this up, Aaron is donating 100% of the royalties from Stand Together to two charities close to his heart: The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and The Ambulance Staff Charity. Every stream and listen will also support these causes.
