A woman has tragically died after being struck by a train in Southampton on Friday night, police have confirmed.
Fatal Crash at Bone Mill Level Crossing
The victim was hit by a Bournemouth-bound train just before 10pm at Bone Mill Level Crossing, near Test Lane.
Emergency Services Respond
Paramedics, Hampshire Constabulary officers, and British Transport Police rushed to the scene. Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the spot.
