Spencer Elden, now 30, the baby famously snapped on Nirvana’s legendary Nevermind album cover, is taking legal action against the band. Elden was just four months old when he posed naked in a swimming pool, reaching for a dollar bill dangled on a fishing line – a shot that went global.

He claims his parents never signed permission for the image’s use. Elden alleges the photo amounts to sexual exploitation, insisting the nude image is effectively child pornography.
Legal Bombshell: Album Cover Called ‘Lascivious’
“The images exposed Spencer’s intimate body part and lasciviously displayed Spencer’s genitals from the time he was an infant to the present day,”
his legal team states in court papers filed in California. However, under US law, innocent baby photos usually aren’t classified as child pornography – setting up a fierce legal battle ahead.
