Essex Man Charged with Renato Geci’s Hounslow Murder as Second Suspect Held

Essex Man Held Over Hounslow Stabbing Murder

Jason Sebran, 37, from Freemans Court, Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, was arrested on Friday, 2 April. The next day, he faced Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court charged with murder, wounding with intent, and burglary.

Sebran has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 7 April. Meanwhile, a 31-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She’s been bailed to appear at a south London police station in early May.

Second Murder Charge in Hounslow Stabbing

Earlier, on Friday, 26 March, Shaddai Smith, 31, of Firwood Lane, Romford, was charged with the same murder, plus wounding with intent against another man, and burglary at a home in Granville Avenue, Hounslow, on 22 March.

A 27-year-old woman arrested for assisting an offender has been released on bail until mid-April.

Fatal Stabbing Shakes Hounslow Community

Police were called to Granville Avenue at 3.20am on Monday, 22 March, following a disturbance. Officers found two men with stab wounds. One man, named Renato, was treated on scene but died at 4.23am.

The other man, also in his 20s, was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged.
