Australia is about to get a taste of glamour and drama as Channel 4 and Seven Network co-commission “Made in Bondi” (working title), a fresh take on the award-winning reality series “Made in Chelsea.” This new iteration will follow the lives and loves of Sydney’s young, social elite, set against the backdrop of one of the city’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.
“Made in Bondi” promises viewers a front-row seat to jaw-dropping parties, breathtaking fashion, and sizzling romances. The opulence of luxurious harbour mansions and trendy bars will serve as the playground for this group of young socialites as they navigate the interconnected web of relationships that define their lives.
Karl Warner, Head of Youth and Digital at Channel 4, expressed excitement about the global expansion of the “Made in” franchise, highlighting the success of “Made in Chelsea” over the past decade. The collaboration with Seven, Matchbox, and Monkey marks a new chapter for the reality series.
The series is set to air on E4 in the UK and Channel 7 in Australia, bringing the “Made in Bondi” experience to audiences on both sides of the globe. While awaiting the Australian edition, fans need not worry, as some of their favourite Chelsea socialites will be heading to Sydney for a special winter series of “Made in Chelsea: Sydney,” slated to premiere in December on E4 and Channel 4.
