Green Recovery Voucher Boosts Kent Businesses Post-Pandemic

Kent firms hit hard by Covid can now cash in on the Green Recovery Voucher Scheme, a fresh lifeline to rebuild sustainably. This scheme is part of the C-Care project, backed by the EU Interreg France (Channel) England programme, aimed at helping businesses bounce back stronger and greener.

Up to £1,500 for Eco-Friendly Upgrades

The scheme hands out vouchers worth up to £1,500 to Kent businesses. The cash can be spent on eco-friendly goods and services, including:

  • Energy efficiency installations
  • Waste reduction solutions
  • Sustainable transport options
  • Biodiversity enhancement projects
  • Planning for a ‘Net Zero’ future

Local green service providers, pre-approved by the scheme, will support businesses across the county to take advantage.

Cut Costs and Protect the Planet, Says Kent Councillor

Our strong network of small and medium enterprises is part of Kent’s identity,” said Susan Carey, Kent County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment.

“The Green Recovery Voucher Scheme is critical to helping firms rebuild from the pandemic in an environmentally sustainable way.”

“With profit margins tight, this is a fantastic opportunity and I encourage business owners to explore how it can aid their recovery.”
