Haven Holiday Parks Issues Urgent Recall on Flashing Rings

Haven Holiday Parks has launched an urgent recall on their popular Seaside Squad Flashing Rings. The LED toy rings, featuring characters like George, Rory, Jaz, and Annie, have been flagged for serious safety risks.

Choking Hazard and Chemical Risks Exposed

The flashing rings come apart easily, exposing button cell batteries inside. This puts children at risk of choking and severe internal injuries if swallowed. The toys fail to meet the UK’s Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011, raising chemical hazard concerns.

Affected Batches and Where They Were Sold

The recall covers products from batch number 022024 sold exclusively at Haven Parks, Funshops, Wondershops, and Mini Markets between 1st March and 3rd June 2024. Here are the barcodes for the dangerous rings:

  • George: 617285318722
  • Rory: 617285318715
  • Jaz: 617285318739
  • Annie: 617285318708

What To Do If You Have These Rings

The rings were manufactured in China and have now been pulled from shelves as a precaution. Customers who own these flashing rings are strongly advised to stop using them immediately and return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
