Mark Neate, the Director of Environment, Safety, and Security at Sellafield Ltd, has recently disclosed his decision to step down from his position later this year. Neate, whose career has been characterized by unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and security of the Sellafield site and its workforce, has been with Sellafield Ltd for over a decade.

Mark Neate commenced his journey at Sellafield Ltd as the Chief Security Officer, joining the company from the British Army. During his remarkable tenure, he also served on the company’s executive board. Over the years, he led several successful initiatives, including the Sellafield Security Enhancement Project, the modernization of the site’s emergency management arrangements, and the incorporation of sustainability principles into the site’s operations.
