One Person Has Died A Second Has Been Left In A Serious Condition After Fatal Crash On The Isle Wight

Sad News  from the Isle of Wight this  evening. A Person has died and  a second person has been left  with serious life changing  injuries following a  two vehicle crash  on the Whippingham Road in East Cowes. Emergency Services were called just after 8pm this  evening to a  two vehicle Road traffic collision. One of the vehicle had left the road.  Emergency workers  fought to save  the  person at the side of the road and to free a second trapped person. But sadly one died at the scene from their injuries a  second person has been airlifted to Southampton Hospital .  Police have  closed the  road and   specialist  crash scene investigators are appealing for witnesses to contact then on 101.
