Murder Investigation Underway
The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched a murder probe led by Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge. He described the attack and appealed for the public’s help.
“We know a black SUV pulled up alongside the victim’s car outside some shops on Lady Margaret Road. One occupant got out, fired directly into the car, then fled at speed. The getaway vehicle headed towards Ruislip Road, then along Parkway to the M4,” said DCI Partridge.
“This route is usually busy, and it’s possible motorists witnessed the fleeing vehicle or caught it on dash cams. We urgently need anyone with information or footage to come forward.”
